Racing History:
Steve has long been a fan of things fast. He first got started in motorsports working with a Stock Car team at San Diego’s short track. A fateful day, where his young son saw a racing kart for the first time got Steve’s driving juices flowing. Settling in on the TaG class, Wiener has tried his hand at Shifters and HPV karts. Steve has been an active participant in everything from club races to the biggest national karting events.
Born and raised in San Diego, Steve Wiener has stayed close to “America’s Finest City” found it the best place to grow his family and business. Steve has long sought out things with speed, flying his own planes either commuting or for pleasure. A graduate with an engineering degree, Wiener owns a chain of successful retail stores throughout the country. |
