Continuing a fast progression during his rookie season behind the wheel, long time motorsports participant Roy Montgomery signed with FX Racing for trackside support and driver development.  With a heavy focus on the 2008 SuperNationals, Montgomery joins the team to raise the level of his game.

Not new to top level motorsports, the Newport Beach driver originally hailing from Houston, Texas stays busy as the technical director of O’Connell Racing competing in Grand-Am and NASCAR events.  A director at General Pacific Partners by day, Montgomery will be paired with FX Racing wrench Tyler Brooks.

“Roy’s experience in motorsports definitely brings a valuable asset to the team.  We first saw him ontrack in January and have been impressed with how far he’s come” stated FX Racing’s Frank Bain.  “His work ethic is inspiring and we’re looking forward to helping him develop behind the wheel.”  The team has been busy preparing and testing ontrack for the season ending event at The Rio.
