Makita Industrial Power Tools has teamed up with FX Racing to support the SKUSA 2008 ProKart Challenge.  Makita will be supporting six events scheduled with power tool combo kits to race winners, which will include the newest 18V Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill and Impact Driver.

“This is a great step for Makita to support SKUSA and the PKC series. Makita’s products are by far the best on the market and kart racers have a thirst for great products” stated FX Racing’s Frank Bain.  “The 18 volt Lithium-Ion Drill and Impact Driver should be a staple in every driver’s tool box.”

Makita’s commitment to racing and action sports is not new.  Makita supports Team Suzuki competing in the AMA Supercross/Motorcross series.  Makita recently became the Official Tool Sponsor of the Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) Series, and is also a sponsor of off-road race teams in CORR and SCORE.
