Trackmagic LLC has announced that it has entered a manufacturing agreement with a premier Italian company to build karts and components to Trackmagic specifications. All design, engineering, and R&D of karts will continue to be done by Trackmagic in the United States and will be determined and guided by testing and racing on U.S. tracks. The new 2008 karts and parts are currently in production and are scheduled for availability in mid-March. Parts for new karts and non-current models will be stocked in their Northern California warehouse.
According to Trackmagic owner Andrew Alfonso, “This is a progressive step forward for Trackmagic. We are combining Italian quality with American ingenuity to provide our customers with an outstanding racing product at a very competitive price. I am fortunate to have inherited such a loyal customer base and continue to be committed to Trackmagic’s American heritage.”
Trackmagic has received tremendous support from existing dealers and customers. Memo Gidley, the 'Godfather of Trackmagic', has been involved in the evolution of Trackmagic and expects the new product line to be better than ever. “As everybody knows the relationship and the winning results I have had with Trackmagic karts has been instrumental in the success of my career. The reason we had so much success is because the company, and specifically, the late Fausto Vitello, had a no holds barred desire and attitude to win. In the relatively short time I have been around Andrew Alfonso, I have been impressed that he also shares that determination to be the best by building the best karts possible. I know Andrew has one agenda with this new manufacturing partnership, to build a winning race kart. I am excited to be part of this and to help Trackmagic continue their success.”
In addition to their new racing karts, Trackmagic will introduce baby karts and a cadet program of equal quality as well as a new premium parts line for all makes of karts. Contact Trackmagic through their new website (www.trackmagic.com) for more information.
