FX Racing is pleased to announce the addition of a Junior Racing Team to their 2008 kart racing program. Building upon the proven success of their trackside support team in ProKart Challenge and SKUSA events since 2004, FX Racing will bring their professional approach to support and driver coaching to a program that gives young kart racers a strong platform to further their development in motorsports.

“Junior racing in Southern California is great. There’s tons of activity from club racing to IKF Region 7,” explained FX Racing’s Frank Bain. “We’ve been able to put together experts in the junior ranks and adapt our professional approach to kart racing with a program geared towards the needs of younger racers.”  Junior Driver winners Kyle Kuntze and Brody Roa have an active role with the program, sharing their experience to help junior drivers reach top levels of performance. The team will specialize in HPV and Comer classes.

The program is designed not only to aid drivers with the support they need on track, but also to guide young drivers pursuing a career in motorsports. With the comprehensive approach offered by FX Racing, drivers learn about how to achieve the performance needed in multiple areas to be successful today and as they move up the racing ladder. From kart setup to driving techniques, to fitness and having the proper mindset, the FX Racing team is able to educate young drivers with feedback and coaching validated by years of experience.

The team has signed cadet driver Andrew Wiener to the program and have been logging productive training laps over the winter months.  Andrew’s father, Steve notes “Andrew has made great progress in his time working with FX Racing. Their experience has been very helpful and they teach in a way that he is able to enjoy learning how to be a better driver.”
